The Montane Punk Balaclava provides an amazing amount of protection and warmth for the head when you are out in the cold of a winter’s day, whether climbing, walking, running or biking.

The Punk Balaclava offers almost complete cover for the head yet still allows good forward vision. This is a very lightweight balaclava yet provides considerable warmth and also offers additional protection over critical areas such as the ears which can become very painful when exposed to a bitingly cold wind.

Even the mouth is protected by the Punk Balaclava but it is still easy to breathe through the material in this area of the balaclava.

The small wired peak of the Montane Punk Balaclava provides its own additional protection but it also enables the balaclava to be able to be used under a mountain shell hood.

Garment care

• Machine wash in warm water at 30°C/86°F with a mild soap. Montane recommends that you use Nikwax BaseWash
