Montane Mens Deep Cold Down Insulated Jacket

It says a great deal that the Montane Mens Deep Cold Down Insulated Jacket is designed to be used on polar expeditions. It will therefore certainly give excellent insulation protection against the most extreme cold anyone is likely to experience.

The secret is of course in the use of down as the insulation material and here there are 400 grams of minimum 90/10 high-quality goose down at 800+ fill power throughout the jacket with the boxwall construction eliminating the risk of potential cold spots. In addition, the PEAQ Down liner is comfortable next to the skin, it is highly breathable to disperse perspiration and it is fast drying as well.

The Montane Deep Cold Down Jacket is tailored so that it will accommodate even bulky layers you may wear underneath as additional insulation.

The careful attention to detail illustrated below – even in relation to the design and features of the pockets – are convincing evidence of the effectiveness of this hugely impressive high mountain, basecamp and polar expedition jacket.
