The Grivel Easy Slider 2.0 Hand Rest is a new device from Grivel that addresses the difficulty of needing to frequently alternate between the way you are holding your ice axe as when, for example, finding yourself repeatedly changing from walking to climbing and back again over a period of time.

The hand rest can be slid to the tail end of the shaft when hand support is needed and it is also able to be slid right to the top end when you are walking. The hand rest supports the hand and also can help protect it from violent blows against a rock or ice face.

The elastic sling system helps to avoid you losing tools when climbing on rock or ice.

• Supplied with carabiner for attaching elasticised leash to harness or backpack
• Supplied with 2 x small self-tapping screws to screw into rivet holes near bottom of shaft to operate as retainers
