The Berghaus Furnace Women’s Hooded Down Mountain Jacket is an excellent protective jacket as its Pertex Microlight main fabric is both water-resistant and wind-resistant and it features body-mapped insulation.

This lightweight and packable jacket is nonetheless very comfortably warm thanks to the anatomically informed application of the Hydrodown insulation. This is body-mapped using microbaffles to position more insulation where it is most needed and less where there is a reduced requirement for warmth but more need for freedom of movement such as the shoulders, sides and lower arms.

Further protection is provided by the Berghaus Furnace Women’s Hooded Down Jacket through its hood, the stretch binding at the cuffs and the ability to adjust the fit of the hem with a drawcord.
