From running experts Inov8 comes the Terraclaw 250 women's version. Designed for running on a multitude of surfaces, runners say these are ideal for muddy, grassy and steep terrain but probably not best for hard, packed ground for a length of time. The Terra claw has a Dual-C rubber out sole which is a mixture of sticky rubbers to grip onto wet rock and a multi directional lug pattern to compliment the natural movement of the foot and keeps debris from getting packed in. For long runs or racing, the 8mm drop offers more comfort underfoot with a compressed EVA mid sole. These shoes are not too stiff giving good feedback through the foot to the runner and the lacing system and close fitting heel locks the foot in position whilst the wider toe box allows the toes to splay when running or doing weights at the gym. A double layered, lightweight toe cap and welded overlay wraps the forefoot, and the tongue has been diagonally sewn to defend against debris. If water does get in, it easily escapes and the light, breathable fabric will dry out quickly.
