This Featherlite down jacket from Montane will protect you as you move fast over wintry terrain, thanks to the lack of bulk and the fact that its only 424g! The micro baffles are packed with a water resistant down and encompassed in a Pertex Quantum rip stop outer, known for being light, robust and also with a water resistant finish. Great jacket. Fits perfect, warm and light weight what more do you want out of a everyday jacket. Good value for money in my opinion.

Have been using Montane products since first aquainted with them nearly twenty years ago when I joined a mountain rescue team. This jacket is very poor and is not fit to wear the Montane badge. Fit is tight across the shoulders and on the arms making it constrictive when sitting in a chair, I’d hate to actually wear it on the hill or even worse, climbing. Jacket a few weeks old and losing feathers, more than my twenty year old Rab jacket, also just discovered a hole in the pocket lining. Very disappointed and let down by overall quality. Fine for a pushing the trolley around Tesco jacket, but it will struggle with anything more technical than the bread isle.
