Braeriach is the UK's third highest mountain, situated in the Cairngorms its remote position makes it a tougher proposition and far less visited than its higher rivals. If you're heading out that way you'll need to pack light and move quick. That's why Anatom created their Mens Q3 Braeriach Trekking/Backpacking Boots. The lightest in the Anatom range of backpacking boots the Braeriach is designed to take you that little bit further, that little bit faster.
Backpacking requires boots that will support both you and the added strain of your pack, so comfort must be matched by stability to ensure sound footing going up and especially coming down the other side.
To achieve this the Braeriach uppers are made from superior 2.6mm thick, Anfibio Leather, a full grain leather that is completely waterproof and perfect for all seasons. This is backed up by a Tri.aria® membrane to be doubly waterproof. Sealing the front of the the uppers to the sole you'll find a rubber bumper that fends off aggressive rocky surfaces to make the boots extra durable. The sole incorporates a wealth of elements including an Anatom Bioform Ultralite Footbed for immediate comfort, phylon midsole for absorbing shocks, and a Vibram outsole with asymmetric heel for maximum grip and natural foot roll.
Anatom are feet geeks, they've measured over 55,000 pairs of feet to create the Anatom Last – the mechanical form around which they make some of the best shaped technical footwear available.
