Contemporary tailoring meet classic styling in the Heritage Liddesdale, featuring a signature diamond quilt, contrast corduroy collar and snap-close front. Available in two colours and a wide range of sizes.
Made with a wind-resistant synthetic outer, quilted to a warm wadding and durable Nylon inner, the Liddesdale is light and protective, without missing out on style. A Heritage slimline fit conforms elegantly to the body's shape, giving this Liddesdale a fresh, youthful look.
From the Heritage Boatyard collection, this quilt is a classic, flattering jacket that can be worn a number of ways.
You may be surprised at just how lightweight this quilted Heritage Liddesdale is. In fact, it is one of the lightest Barbour quilted jackets we stock. Although light, the inner polyester wadding does a good job of stopping the chill. We recommend this Polarquilt coat for Autumn temperatures and dry chilly evenings as it is not waterproof. This quilt is designed to be windproof to stop the cold breeze.
The fit is good. It leans towards the slim side to offer a tailored look. Something to consider if you are wearing layers with it. The studded rear shows the equestrian Heritage roots. This offers some adjustment when riding.
The lining and outer fabric of the jacket are consistent in colour and texture. The cuffs have a cotton style finish and the collar is a colour contrasted corduroy. There is no zip on the front, it is fastened by sturdy studs emblazoned with the Barbour logo. The collar is shirt style leaving the neck open giving it a certain style.
There are two deep jetted pockets at the front of the Heritage Liddesdale with an embroidered logo. These pockets are big enough for most of your immediate everyday carry items and good hand warmers.
The competitive price (for a Barbour quilt) is what makes this jacket value for money. Alongside this, being so versatile and offering a smart casual look is what makes the Heritage Liddersdale so popular.
