Based on the best selling McMurdo Parka, The North Face never rest on their laurels and have applied their commitment to continual improvement to come up with the McMurdo Parka 2. It retains many of the features for which the original jacket gained its renown, like the waterproof, breathable HyVent fabric outer shell and the premium 550 fill power goose down insulation. The large detachable insulated hood is big enough to be warm with a hat and still has the iconic stud attached faux fur trim. This adds the practicality of defending your face against chill winds as well as looking fantastic. The considerable number of pockets remain too, everything from hand-warming to ski pass and mobile phone accommodating and lots more besides in the gargantuan cargo pockets.
Additions include improved tabs on the zips and pockets for easier access even when wearing thick gloves or mitts. The main zip is now 2 way so you can access the lower internal pocket, adjust your trousers, or open the bottom of the jacket out when you're seated without having to undo the whole of the jacket.
Fully adjustable with velcro cuffs and drawcords to hem, waist and hood.
If the original McMurdo was a beast of a parka, then this is the Yeti.
550 Goose Fill Down: Lightweight insulation with a high weight-to-warmth ratio.
Adjustable drawcord system at waist
2-Way center front zip with stud close storm flap
Zipped chest pockets
Detachable faux fur trim on removable hood
Double entry compartment hand pockets

Going to the extremes or going to the coffee shop, there's no better clothing to wear than The North Face.
