I havent tried this outdoors yet, but I am writing the review now because it is likely to be a while before I do. I purchased to replace a smaller bivi that only had a slot chest entry and was hard to get in and out of. The reasons for purchasing this were: Higher breathability due to eVent fabric on the top, large top opening with zipper that runs around the side, high side to allow use of lofted bags. Trying it out indoors, I can easily get my Thermarest lite mat (20mm thick) and down bag inside, with plenty of room left over. I reckon I could almost get changed inside as well. The bag is plenty long enough at 2.35m, and I plan to bring a small bag inside with me in use, placed above my head. I considered this or the Rab Ascent (which has bug netting), but decided to go for this because I can always wear a head net if necessary, and this is lighter and packs smaller. Service from e-outdoor was fantastic.
