For the ultimate in reliability on challenging terrain and remote expeditions, the Leki Sherpa XTG Superstrong trekking pole has you covered. Formerly known as the Leki Sherpa XL trekking pole, it has all the same top-of-the range features needed for long-distance trekking and mountaineering, with a new look and updated strap design.

Ready for long journeys and steep treks, the Sherpa XTG is part of Leki's Superstrong range of poles, designed to provide maximum support for users over 180cm in height and/or 75kg in weight. SpeedLock 2 adjustment is quick and reliable, but for short uphill stretches there's the XTG extended foam grip, saving time spent adjusting length. High quality aluminium sections are strong enough for walking with a hefty pack and the edgeless Aergon grip and flexible strap support your wrists comfortably throughout a long day. A great pole for remote and varied terrain, the Leki Sherpa XTG is the ideal companion for all your adventures.

The Ultralite equivalent pole for users under 6'0"/180cm and 75kg is the Leki Sherpa Lite XTG.

  • The full-featured three-part Leki Super Strong trekking pole, designed to support remote, long distance journeys on foot on variable terrain.
  • Material: HTS 6.5 aluminium
  • Shaft diameter: 18/16/14 mm
  • Grip: Aergon Thermo Long
  • Length adjustment: SpeedLock 2 Lever
  • Strap: Leki Skin Strap
  • Tip: Carbide Flex Tip with interchangeable basket system
  • Collapsed length: 70 cm
  • Useable length: 110 - 145 cm (suitable for users over 6'/180cm in height)

Leki Super strong trekking poles offer extra reserves of strength and even greater stability for users over 6'0"/180cm in height and/or over 75kg in weight. Larger diameter tubing and longer sections than those of the Ultralite range provide greater bend resistance and extra useable length with minimal additional weight.

Leki XTG poles have an extended foam grip for quick shifting of your hand to the shaft, avoiding the need to adjust the pole length for short uphill stretches.
