The Trailblazer 30 has been designed with fast paced activities in mind where low weight, comfort and quick access to all your belongings is essential. The Montane Convalent harness is customisable, and fits close to restrict movement. With 30 litres capacity there is plenty of room for kit and essentials and lots of pockets to keep it all organised. The Trailblazer also has a hydration pouch pocket so you can drink on the go and reflective detailing so you can be seen in the mountains in low light conditions.
Come and have a look at our extensive range of rucksacks from all the top bands suitable for the day walker, cyclist or Scottish mountaineer.
Although the Trailblazer 30 is designed for fast paced, lightweight, outdoor activists it is also a very useful backpack for perhaps the slower paced walkers amongst us. The 30L main pocket has more than enough room for a lightweight overnight camp, or for all you needs if you are B&B'ing it along one of our great National Trails. The four smaller easy to hand pockets (two on the shoulder straps and two on the waist strap) save the wearer the trouble of removing the pack to access smaller items like a snack bar, phone or a small water bottle. While the four stretch mesh Pockets on the outside of the pack make it easy to store and retrieve larger items like waterproofs or a map.
Montane have made unique use of the back adjustment system common on most larger backpacks. By enabling the user to adjust the length of the back of the Trailblazer and with an original wrap around design of the hip belt. The Trailblazer can be used both for hiking and running. Whether running, climbing or walking the Trailblazer will remain tight and snug to your body enhancing your active efficiency and load carrying ability.
The design of the Trailblazer 30 means that you can have a lightweight bag with good capacity that can be used for all of your activities. At a reasonable price this is a good investment. I can find only two possible complaints about the pack, it has no rain cover (which would add weight!) and there are quite a few thin straps flapping around - which do not really get in your way but can be a bit annoying. Otherwise the Trailblazer 30 is a good pack waiting to be put to good use.
