You can never change the weather so you better be very well prepared for it! This is Didriksons maxim for all they create and is perfectly demonstrated in the Didriksons1913 Mens Shelter Waterproof Parka.
The most insulated of the Didriksons parkas we stock, it is generously cut with plenty of space for additional layers beneath. It is nonetheless capable of a clear, clean fit thanks to the drawcord across the back at waist height. Beneficial in keeping the insulation close to your body, but not uncomfortable as the drawcord doesn't extend around your tummy.
The Didriksons1913 Mens Shelter Waterproof Parka also has a plethora of pockets. It has two pairs of hand-warmer pockets, the first pair behind the large hip pockets, the second zippered pair behind the chest pockets. A sizeable, media prepared Napoleon pocket behind the storm-flap is the ideal location for valuables that require both security and easy access. Two stash pockets inside the jacket are great for storing bits that you don't want the cold to get to.
Cuffs are close fitting elasticated knit inners with velcro adjustable outers.
The hood has double adjustment and removable synthetic fur trim. The trim is great for keeping the wind off your face, but the capacity to remove it allows for greater visibility when you need it most.
The main zip and storm flap extend right up into the hood and the inside face has a soft fabric chin guard to prevent chaffing on the zip.
