The detachable faux fur is on a detachable hood. Not only does it keep you really warm with the Heatseeker quilted insulation wrapping around your core and throughout the hood, but keeps you from getting a soaking too with it's completely waterproof outer. There is a drawcord at the waist to help with the fit and keep warmth inside, a fishtail hem at the back for comfort and zipped hand pockets.
