Making a Purchase
Making a purchase from our site is very straight forward. Just browse our store and click on the "buy now" button below the desired product
remembering to select any size/colour options and amending the quantity as required. The software will then open up your "basket" and display what
you have selected. Once you have finished shopping click on the "proceed to checkout" button and you will be forwarded to our secure server where you
will need to enter a few details concerning shipping addresses etc so we can satisfy your order. Please note that at present we cannot accept orders
from overseas customers although exceptions may be made for certain customers please contact us on 01604 230901. Note; all orders placed after 3pm on
Friday will be processed on Monday.We reserve the right to cancel or not accept any order according to our discretion. You will be informed in the first instance.
Payment
We accept secure credit card payment. Under normal circumstances we do not charge your credit/debit card for any item until it is ready to dispatch
and back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Please do not worry about entering your credit/debit card details through our web
site. We currently use 128 bit industry standard security and know of no known cases of fraud against the software we use. You can check our security
by clicking on the padlock symbol on your browser.
Shipping/Back Orders and Handling
Your order should reach you within 3-5 working days. Any items that are not in stock will be back ordered and you will be advised of its delivery
date as soon as the information becomes available to us.
Obviously should a product not be immediately available or its delivery date is not suitable you have the opportunity to cancel or change the
outstanding items.
As all deliveries require proof of signature please ensure that the delivery address you give is attended 8-5 Mon-Fri (except for public holidays etc).
Redirection of Consignment Once Despatched, Failed Deliveries and Orders Cancelled Once Despatched
Unfortunately, we regret to say that there is a £20.00 surcharge should the parcel need to be re-routed to a different address or returned to us once
it has been despatched, (We do recommend that all orders are sent to an address where a signature is available) this is because we are charged for
this service by our couriers and due to offering free postage and some of the most competitive prices online we cannot absorb this cost.
Any order returned to us due to failed deliveries where our couriers have attempted to deliver on two or more occasions and left contact cards, then
received no reply from the customer, will be charged a flat rate of £6.00 restocking fee, whether the customers requests the order to be resent or
cancelled. This also applies to orders cancelled once despatched.
We reserve the right to change the delivery prices without prior notice. While we make every effort to ensure that delivery takes place within three
working days on items that are currently in stock, we cannot guarantee any delivery times. In the event that we cannot deliver your order or a part of
your order we will inform you within three working days.
Delivery charges are as follows based on the value of your order :
- £0.00 - £75 / £3.50
- £75.01 or above / FREE *
Tax Charges
All orders are subject to UK VAT @ 17.5% where appropriate. Exceptions to this are orders for kids clothing etc which is not vat applicable and
Fuel/books etc which is subject to 5% VAT
Returns Policy
Should you wish to return an item for a refund or exchange, please do so within 14 days. Unless faulty, goods must be returned in a saleable condition.
When returning goods please remember to include a copy of your receipt. If this is not possible, make sure that you include your name, address and
a telephone number (daytime) inside the package and please do not forget to tell us if you want a replacement or a refund. We will only refund the
delivery cost if we have despatched damaged or incorrect goods. You will be responsible for any returned goods until they reach us. Please make sure
that you get proof of postage and that the method of delivery requires a signature as in the event of a lost package we will not be able to
accept responsibility unless a signature can be supplied.
'Replacement goods sent to the customer in exchange (unless originally sent in error by us) will be charged at cost, which is at present - £6.95.'
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you legally in accordance with the Data Protection
Act 1998. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless we feel we have a particular service that you may find useful. At this - and any other point - you will
be offered the chance to refuse this service.
The type of information we collect about you includes:
- Your Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- E-Mail Address
- Credit/Debit Card Details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information we hold on you by e-mailing, writing or phoning us.
Contact information is listed here. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly as per your requirements.
The personal information that we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
If we intend to transfer you information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your explicit consent first.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will your personal information be passed on to any other parties. Any information we hold will be used only by us in a
responsible way and only for the purpose of offering a better shopping experience.
