Footwear Guide Walking boots need to be a half to full size larger than your normal foot size to allow for the wearing of walking socks. The actual fitting shape of the boot is brand dependent - different brands will hold your feet differently. Allow for a finger's width fitting down back of a walking boot when wearing but before lacing up. The boot shouldn't have any noticable pressure points or tight spots - there is no such thing as 'breaking in' a boot to loosen it up. The ankle should feel restricted and supported in a way you are not used to at first. Walking boots will always feel stiffer to wear. Zamberlan & Scarpa brands have an overall narrower fitting. Merrell in general tend to be shorter, so for normal fitting, get a size larger. The Meindl Matrei is our widest boot - perfect for anyone who requires a wide fitting. Shoe-style footwear and sandals have a regular fit and size.

The Women's Malvern Waxed Coat is from Barbour's Classic Collection, this is a range of practical and hard-wearing clothing that has proven the test of time and is a classic and popular design. The Malvern waxed coat is a popular 'trench coat' style with an A line silhouette, it's longer length (34-36.5inches) gives great protection against the elements as well as having a great look. The Ladies Malvern is made from Barbour's 100% waxed cotton for maximum weather protection lined with the Barbour traditional 100% cotton tartan. Barbour major on functionality as well as style and so they include ample pockets - the two welt pockets at the hip feature flap closures with branded studs and there is an internal security pocket. The branded studs also feature on the wrist adjustment bands emphasising the 'trench' look also feature on the wrist adjustments. A true Barbour classic, The Women's Malvern Waxed Coat sports the soft cord collar that is a traditional feature of Barbour jackets and part of the brand's heritage.
