Footwear Guide
  • Walking boots need to be a half to full size larger than your normal foot size to allow for the wearing of walking socks.
  • The actual fitting shape of the boot is brand dependent - different brands will hold your feet differently.
  • Allow for a finger's width fitting down back of a walking boot when wearing but before lacing up.
  • The boot shouldn't have any noticable pressure points or tight spots - there is no such thing as 'breaking in' a boot to loosen it up.
  • The ankle should feel restricted and supported in a way you are not used to at first.
  • Walking boots will always feel stiffer to wear.
  • Zamberlan & Scarpa brands have an overall narrower fitting.
  • Merrell in general tend to be shorter, so for normal fitting, get a size larger.
  • The Meindl Matrei is our widest boot - perfect for anyone who requires a wide fitting.
  • Shoe-style footwear and sandals have a regular fit and size.

'The North Face Greenland Womens Jacket'


The Women’s Greenland Jacket is designed to keep you dry and protected from icy, freezing conditions. Designed with a waterproof, breathable, seam sealed HyVent 2L exterior that sheds rain and snow, and insulated with a plush 550 fill down, this jacket is super warm and wearable in frosty temperatures. The faux fur trim on the insulated hood is detachable and the waist can be nipped in to hug your figure with an attached belt with a chic buckle.
