Footwear Guide
  • Walking boots need to be a half to full size larger than your normal foot size to allow for the wearing of walking socks.
  • The actual fitting shape of the boot is brand dependent - different brands will hold your feet differently.
  • Allow for a finger's width fitting down back of a walking boot when wearing but before lacing up.
  • The boot shouldn't have any noticable pressure points or tight spots - there is no such thing as 'breaking in' a boot to loosen it up.
  • The ankle should feel restricted and supported in a way you are not used to at first.
  • Walking boots will always feel stiffer to wear.
  • Zamberlan & Scarpa brands have an overall narrower fitting.
  • Merrell in general tend to be shorter, so for normal fitting, get a size larger.
  • The Meindl Matrei is our widest boot - perfect for anyone who requires a wide fitting.
  • Shoe-style footwear and sandals have a regular fit and size.

The Men’s Resolve Parka affords wild weather protection within a waterproof, breathable armour of HyVent™ fabric. Complete with an adjustable stowable hood, you will be able to hunker down in the worst of rain or snow storms in this stylish and functional jacket. It is also mesh-lined for greater comfort and resistance to internal wear and tear. The centre front zip closure is reinforced with a Velcro® closure for added environmental security. But the Resolve Parka is not all about rugged storm proof features; the collar is brush lined for soft comfort.
