Footwear Guide
  • Walking boots need to be a half to full size larger than your normal foot size to allow for the wearing of walking socks.
  • The actual fitting shape of the boot is brand dependent - different brands will hold your feet differently.
  • Allow for a finger's width fitting down back of a walking boot when wearing but before lacing up.
  • The boot shouldn't have any noticable pressure points or tight spots - there is no such thing as 'breaking in' a boot to loosen it up.
  • The ankle should feel restricted and supported in a way you are not used to at first.
  • Walking boots will always feel stiffer to wear.
  • Zamberlan & Scarpa brands have an overall narrower fitting.
  • Merrell in general tend to be shorter, so for normal fitting, get a size larger.
  • The Meindl Matrei is our widest boot - perfect for anyone who requires a wide fitting.
  • Shoe-style footwear and sandals have a regular fit and size.

PLEASE NOTE  that the LOGO COLOUR on the Front and the Back of the jacket are the same colour as the jacket fabric. For e.g. On a Black jacket the LOGO is Black.

The North Face Women’s Brooklyn Jacket is a city-styled, deceptively technical insulated coat for cold weather. The HyVent body shell is weatherproof – waterproof, breathable and seam sealed – so it protects the lofty 550 fill goose down inside. The faux fur trim on the insulate hood is detachable. Closes with a two-way centre zip with snap down closures to keep draughts out. An attached fabric belt with a logo adorned metal buckle and twin hand pockets complete the exterior styling detail. Inside there is a useful security pocket and soft, attached fleece in the cuffs. The North Face Women’s Brooklyn Jacket is a down coat that offers top-down warmth and great styling to ward off biting winter chills.
