Footwear Guide
  • Walking boots need to be a half to full size larger than your normal foot size to allow for the wearing of walking socks.
  • The actual fitting shape of the boot is brand dependent - different brands will hold your feet differently.
  • Allow for a finger's width fitting down back of a walking boot when wearing but before lacing up.
  • The boot shouldn't have any noticable pressure points or tight spots - there is no such thing as 'breaking in' a boot to loosen it up.
  • The ankle should feel restricted and supported in a way you are not used to at first.
  • Walking boots will always feel stiffer to wear.
  • Zamberlan & Scarpa brands have an overall narrower fitting.
  • Merrell in general tend to be shorter, so for normal fitting, get a size larger.
  • The Meindl Matrei is our widest boot - perfect for anyone who requires a wide fitting.
  • Shoe-style footwear and sandals have a regular fit and size.

The Pertex Endurance outer provides durable protection against storm and spindrift while retaining minimal weight and packsize. High lofting is provided by the 225g of US800 fill pure European goose down. "excellent jacket i took it to Afghanistan in the winter temp drop to -5 some nights and i was comfortably warm compresses down to an amazingly small size great for just throwing in a day sack just incase would recommend to anybody "

"I am a Rab enthusiast as the kit they make are awesome. I now own Latok alpine, Generator pull on and Baltora guide. All are awesome in their own way. I have wanted the Neutrino endurance for a long time now as the jacket wowed me at first appearance. Made from a water-resistant Pertex Endurance outer fabric and packed with 850+ goose down fill, its an alpinists dream come true. It has maximum warmth to weight ratio and is super lightweight, weatherproof and feels great on. I purchased size large and can comfortably fit additional layers under. The fit is true to size. I could not resist any longer. For any existing or new to Rab customers do not hesitate with this jacket. Rab make the best kit by far!!!! As for white bishop the service was amazing. They kept me fully updated on the status of my order, even an email stating that my order had been received via email. Amazing, will definately use them again!!!! "
