Footwear Guide
  • Walking boots need to be a half to full size larger than your normal foot size to allow for the wearing of walking socks.
  • The actual fitting shape of the boot is brand dependent - different brands will hold your feet differently.
  • Allow for a finger's width fitting down back of a walking boot when wearing but before lacing up.
  • The boot shouldn't have any noticable pressure points or tight spots - there is no such thing as 'breaking in' a boot to loosen it up.
  • The ankle should feel restricted and supported in a way you are not used to at first.
  • Walking boots will always feel stiffer to wear.
  • Zamberlan & Scarpa brands have an overall narrower fitting.
  • Merrell in general tend to be shorter, so for normal fitting, get a size larger.
  • The Meindl Matrei is our widest boot - perfect for anyone who requires a wide fitting.
  • Shoe-style footwear and sandals have a regular fit and size.

I have just worn this jacket to do relay for life on a night so wet and stormy that it had to ba abandoned at 2am. This jacket was worth the money for that night alone, it kept me warm and dry in severe conditions and I could go on and on about how great it is! Love it!!

The North Face Arctic Parka

PLEASE NOTE: The logo colour on the Front and the Back of the jacket are the same colour as the jacket fabric. For example a Black jacket has a Black logo.

This stylish trenchcoat features luxurious 550 fill goose down insulation for a robust line of defence against freezing temperatures, enhanced by that collar trim around the adjustable and detachable hood and internal fleece in the cuffs.

A faux fur trim adds to the winter style on the Women's Arctic Parka. Seam-sealed waterproof protection meanwhile comes courtesy of a HyVent membrane, repelling rain, snow and splashes on the outside while simultaneously allowing moisture to escape from the inside and leave you comfortable.

Chest, side and internal pockets meanwhile provide plenty of room to stow belongings. Zip up this winter parka for a great look in cold urban environments.

"Fantastic coat, fits well, looks elegant, yet warm, waterproof and well protecting you from elements. Love the soft snugly cuffs, which keep wind away! I am size 8/10 and this fits me fine, however for someone with medium/large arms might be too tight. Superb customer service. Thank you."
