Footwear Guide
  • Walking boots need to be a half to full size larger than your normal foot size to allow for the wearing of walking socks.
  • The actual fitting shape of the boot is brand dependent - different brands will hold your feet differently.
  • Allow for a finger's width fitting down back of a walking boot when wearing but before lacing up.
  • The boot shouldn't have any noticable pressure points or tight spots - there is no such thing as 'breaking in' a boot to loosen it up.
  • The ankle should feel restricted and supported in a way you are not used to at first.
  • Walking boots will always feel stiffer to wear.
  • Zamberlan & Scarpa brands have an overall narrower fitting.
  • Merrell in general tend to be shorter, so for normal fitting, get a size larger.
  • The Meindl Matrei is our widest boot - perfect for anyone who requires a wide fitting.
  • Shoe-style footwear and sandals have a regular fit and size.

'BLOC Scorpion Sunglasses'


A unique design inspired by originals like the Stoat and Stingray. This new design utilises harder edged sculpturing, for a streamlined look. The soft temples hug the contours of the head enhancing comfort and performance.

FRAME

BLOC sports frames utilise tough and compliant TR90 frames. The fit of the hand-finished frames are exceptional. Sports hinges for total strength, flexibility and longevity. Moulded nose pads to prevent slipping and improve comfort, fit and performance.

LENS

Lenses provide 100% UV protection.

VE5 VERMILION(White & Tortoise frame only) - The unique hue of this lens makes it a true all rounder, at home in the brightest conditions, whether on mountain, street or beach. The grey content ensures natural colour transmission and the vermilion enhances red, green and yellow, whilst eliminating a high degree of blue light. This increases perception of detail and dramatically reduces eye fatigue.

S15 SMOKE(Black only & White/Pink) - This lens transmits the full colour spectrum. It does not change the way colours are seen and is ideally suited for prolonged wearing in bright conditions and for people who have intolerance to colour transformation.
