The Adventurer packs all the power of SteriPEN purification into a compact package. At half the size of the SteriPEN Classic models, and weighing in at just 103 grams /3.6 oz with batteries, the Adventurer is the easiest SteriPEN to take with you when you’re outdoors.
But just because it’s smaller, there is no trade off for speed, power or effectiveness here. The Adventurer purifies a half-litre of water in 48 seconds, just like the bigger models – but in a smaller, lighter device. With its optional solar charging case, the Adventurer will give you the freedom to go way off the grid with a nearly limitless ability to purify water in a product that’s so light and compact, you’ll hardly know you’re carrying it.
The Adventurer ships with two non-rechargeable (disposable) CR123 batteries and a custom-fit neoprene pouch.
The Journey is our top of the line SteriPEN for purifying water in the outdoors. With its easy to read LCD screen, the Journey takes all the guesswork out of water purification process, giving you the information you need in the blink of an eye.
Using universal symbols, Journey’s LCD screen displays your choice of how much water you want to purify (1/2 or 1 liter), battery status and a countdown timer to tell you when the process is complete and your water is safe to drink. The screen also tracks the number of uses and signals when lamp usage approaches its life limit.
At 8,000 doses, lamp life for the Journey will allow you to purify water for a long time to come. If you purified four liters of water each and every day, your Journey would last almost six years!
The Journey is light, weighing in at just 4.5 ounces (128 grams). And like all SteriPEN models, it’s fast. It takes just 48 seconds to purify 16 ounces (0.5 Liter).
The Journey’s tapered end provides a snug fit with water bottles, and with the SteriPEN Fits All Filter, works even with wide-mouth water bottles. Journey is sized between our Adventurer and Classic, and ships with two non-rechargeable (disposable) CR123 batteries and a custom-fit neoprene pouch.
