Footwear Guide
  • Walking boots need to be a half to full size larger than your normal foot size to allow for the wearing of walking socks.
  • The actual fitting shape of the boot is brand dependent - different brands will hold your feet differently.
  • Allow for a finger's width fitting down back of a walking boot when wearing but before lacing up.
  • The boot shouldn't have any noticable pressure points or tight spots - there is no such thing as 'breaking in' a boot to loosen it up.
  • The ankle should feel restricted and supported in a way you are not used to at first.
  • Walking boots will always feel stiffer to wear.
  • Zamberlan & Scarpa brands have an overall narrower fitting.
  • Merrell in general tend to be shorter, so for normal fitting, get a size larger.
  • The Meindl Matrei is our widest boot - perfect for anyone who requires a wide fitting.
  • Shoe-style footwear and sandals have a regular fit and size.

'The North Face Doubletrack 28 Luggage Bag With Backpack'


The North Face Doubletrack 28" Luggage Bag is an ideal sollution to those times when you want or need only one peice of luggage while travelling, but require a smaller back pack upon arrival. Combining an 82 litre roller case with an 18 litre detachable day pack, there is no need to compromise on which necessities to pack. The main body of the bag includes a padded universal laptop sleeve. As well as top and side handles and a retractable carting handle along with wheels, the case features stowable rucksack straps that attach at the base of the bag so you can carry the case in a whole range of ways. The body of the case and bag are reinforced to defend against any abuse from travelling. With a whole array of innovative technical features The Doubletrack 28" Luggage Bag is enough to excite any avid traveller.
